Getting Started
Fill out the registration form on our website. We'll call you within one business day to discuss your child's needs, confirm the right tutor match, and schedule your first session. No payment is required until everything is confirmed.
In most cases, we can have a tutor matched and a first session scheduled within 2–3 business days of your registration. We'll confirm the timeline when we call you.
Yes — we offer a free initial consultation call to discuss your child's goals, confirm the right tutor, and answer any questions you have before your first paid session. There's no pressure and no commitment required.
Absolutely. We encourage it. Start with a single session to make sure the fit is right — you can always switch to a package afterward to save on per-session cost.
Tutors & Safety
Every tutor undergoes a thorough background check and completes our training program before their first session with any student. We personally vet each tutor and only bring on people we'd trust with our own children.
We take the tutor-student relationship seriously. If the fit isn't right for any reason, just let us know and we'll rematch your child with a different tutor at no additional cost — no awkward conversations required.

Yes! If you've read our tutor profiles and have a preference, just mention it when you register or when we call. We'll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability and subject match.
Sessions & Scheduling
Yes! We offer fully interactive Zoom sessions for students who prefer learning at home or live outside our in-person service area. Online sessions are just as effective as in-person — our tutors are experienced with digital tools.
Your tutor will come to your home or meet at your local library — whichever you prefer. We serve Mountain House, Tracy, Lathrop, Manteca, and surrounding San Joaquin County areas for in-person sessions.
Standard sessions are 60 minutes. In some cases, longer sessions can be arranged — just discuss it with us when we confirm your booking.
We schedule sessions Monday through Saturday, from morning to evening. We work around your family's schedule — just let us know your preferred days and times when you register.
We ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations so we can adjust the tutor's schedule. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be counted toward your package. We're always flexible for genuine emergencies — just give us a call.

We work with students from Kindergarten all the way through college. Whether your child needs early reading support or college-level essay help, we have a tutor qualified to help.

Yes. Several of our tutors specialize in supporting students with ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities. We also have a Special Education Instructional Aide who works with IEP goals. Mention any special needs on your registration form and we'll match your child with the most suitable tutor.
Yes. Our tutors are familiar with the local school district's curriculum and standards. When you register, let us know your child's school and we'll make sure the tutor aligns their sessions with what's being taught in class.
Pricing & Payment
Pricing varies based on your child's grade level, subject, and tutor. We offer single sessions, 5-session packages, and 10-session packages — all confirmed personally on our call before any commitment. See our Pricing page or call us at (408) 799-8234 for a quote.
No. Packages never expire. Use them at whatever pace works for your family — over a month, a semester, or longer.
Payment details are arranged directly with you when we call to confirm your first session. We keep the process personal and simple — no online checkout or auto-billing.
None at all. There are no contracts, no minimum commitments, and no cancellation fees (with 24 hours' notice). You're free to stop at any time.
